Denmark–Poland

Maritime

On 19 November 2018, Denmark and Poland signed a maritime boundary agreement defining a frontier between Denmark’s Bornholm Island and Poland’s mainland coast. The boundary extends for 96 nautical miles between provisional tripoints with Germany in the west and Sweden in the east. The delimitation process utilized a variety of methodologies, most notably equidistance and semi-enclaving, to produce what both States believed to be an equitable solution.
