Tanzania–Zambia

Land

The land boundary between Tanzania and Zambia was initially established in 1890 as the edges of African spheres of influence between the United Kingdom and Germany. It spans from the tripoint with the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 383 kilometers (238 miles) in a southeast direction to the tripoint with Malawi. The boundary follows mainly rivers and watersheds. Tanzania and Zambia do not dispute the frontier, and both countries generally have good relations.
