Estonia–Sweden

Maritime

The maritime boundary between Estonia and Sweden is a dual-purpose boundary delimiting the border between the two States’ exclusive economic zones and continental shelves in the Baltic Sea. It extends northward from the tripoint with Latvia for fifty nautical miles before reaching the tripoint with Finland. The tripoint with Latvia was agreed to in 1997, followed by a bilateral delimitation agreement between Estonia and Sweden in 1998. The location of the tripoint with Finland was agreed to by the three States in 2001.
