Lithuania–Sweden
MaritimeThe maritime boundary between Lithuania and Sweden is a dual-purpose boundary dividing the Parties’ exclusive economic zone and continental shelf claims. It extends for just over seven nautical miles in the center of the Baltic Sea between the Parties’ opposing coasts.
Sweden and Lithuania first agreed to a tripoint with the Russian Federation (concerning the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad) in 2005, followed by a bilateral agreement between themselves in 2014. A Latvia–Lithuania–Sweden tripoint, which would form the northern terminus of the boundary, has yet to be agreed to, although the 2014 Agreement notes that such a tripoint will be negotiated at some future date.
